A leading FMCG had an innovation process in place—but results weren’t breaking through. Despite using design thinking, the pipeline was full of safe, familiar ideas. The core issue wasn’t process—it was mindset and skill. Teams needed help thinking beyond the obvious and delivering ideas with real impact.

What we did
Acumen diagnosed the innovation block and designed InnovationPot—a 3-day capability-building program implemented across the Philippines and Southeast Asia. The program focused on:
- Shifting mindsets toward bold, disruptive thinking
- Strengthening creativity and customer-centricity
- Equipping teams with practical tools to move from insight to action
Impact
The program sparked over 1,000 new ideas, many of which entered the innovation pipeline and are now driving growth. It created real capability uplift and behavior change, reigniting a culture of innovation across the business.
