THE CHALLENGE

The newly appointed CEO was ready to lead the company into its next phase—but the organization was still shaped by multiple founding families with differing views and levels of involvement. The dynamic made it difficult to fully transition into a professionalized setup.

What we did

Acumen worked closely with both families and the leadership team to align around shared direction:


  • Engaged key stakeholders to understand their perspectives, needs, and concerns
  • Facilitated open and honest conversations to build trust and surface aligned goals
  • Co-created a Shared Purpose, Values, and Ambition (PVA) to unite both family vision and business direction
  • Developed a 5-year Strategic Plan clearly tied to priorities, choices, and initiatives—shaped with input from key managers
Impact

The process gave everyone a voice and a stake in the future. The PVA anchored the group in a shared aspiration. With aligned leadership and a clear roadmap, the company was better positioned for growth and succession.
