THE CHALLENGE

The conglomerate's data analytics firm set out to launch a single, integrated loyalty program for the entire group. With multiple business units sharing the same customer base, the goal was to optimize customer data and enable cross-business growth through a unified rewards experience.

What we did

Acumen partnered with the data analytics firm to develop a strong brand identity and entry strategy for the loyalty program. We: 


  • Developed a brand concept expressed in authentic customer language, then translated it into a clear product design brief 
  • Led user experience analysis and conjoint research to identify the best combination of loyalty and rewards benefits 
  • Created a long-term vision, compelling value proposition, and strategic marketing mix directions 
  • Designed distinctive, appealing brand symbols and visual identity to ensure the program stood out and felt cohesive across all units 
Impact

The loyalty program successfully unified the conglomerate's businesses under one loyalty program. Customers now earn and redeem points seamlessly across all units, making the experience convenient and rewarding. The program is now a familiar part of the cashier’s spiel and has become a key part of the group’s ecosystem, especially with the inclusion of airline redemption. The loyalty program continues to drive customer engagement and cross-business growth.
