THE CHALLENGE
A universal banking corporation’s leadership team knew the stakes were high: their organization was making pivotal technology decisions, but individual work styles and competing priorities were creating friction, slowing consensus and commitment on big decisions.
What we did
Acumen designed and facilitated an intensive teambuilding and roadmap planning workshop. This included:
- Foster team relationships by exploring individual work styles and alignment on a collaborative purpose
- Develop awareness, understanding, and commitment on the prioritized (technology) strategic imperatives
- Achieve consensus on the on 3 to 5-year overall technology roadmap
Impact
The team was able to discuss their broad strategic themes, identify key issues and opportunities, and prioritize both ongoing and planned initiatives. They also defined the strategic actions linked to these issues and opportunities and developed recommendations for the next steps for each strategy.
